For many years Unity Magazine printed this wonderful quote from Charles & Myrtle Fillmore, defining Unity: "Unity is a link in the great educational movement inaugurated by Jesus Christ; our objective is to discern the Truth in Christianity and prove it."
In Sunday's Lesson, we will discuss the phrase that was used in Unity ministries in church signage and web sites: Unity is a church of Practical Christianity. I was ordained in 1978 (the youngest in my class) and have served ministries in Battle Creek, MI; Knoxville, TN; Tucson, AZ and currently in La Crescenta, CA where I have been the Sr. Minister at Unity Church of the Valley for 16 years.
On Sunday, I will share with you my personal experience of connecting with our Elder Brother, Jesus at a young age. That "call" or connection with Jesus literally saved my life. I look forward to our time together this Sunday!
