Happy New Year's Eve to you this coming Sunday! Our wonderful Music Director, Ann Louise Christensen is enjoying the Holidays with her sister in La Quinta, CA (Palm Desert/Palm Springs area). In her place, another very talented musician will be playing on 12 31 2023 and also on 1 7 2024: Richard Ihara. Richard has played at several Unity Churches and has been well received at previous Sunday services for Unity Church of the Valley. Please give him a warm welcome!
We will celebrate our Annual Burning Bowl service this Sunday. It is one of the rituals that so many people have told me is so powerful to help them cleanse and release the lower, somewhat negative energy of the old year that we are leaving behind. Often, comments have been: "The burning bowl service really helped me have the courage and strength to give up the "lesser" so I could truly embrace the "greater" good that in my heart I knew was God's Plan for me, all along.
