Have you started on your Christmas Card List, yet? I have mailed just half of my list of Christmas Greetings & Blessings that I want to send! It seems like there are so many things to deal with every day and honestly, every day brings us closer to Christmas!!
Our Lesson this coming Sunday (12 11 2022) is the 3rd Sunday in our Advent study and the theme is: "Love!" I photocopied one of my favorite prayer treatments from the well know spiritual teacher,
Dr. Emmet Fox:
Treatment for Divine Love
"There is no difficulty that enough LOVE will not conquer,
no disease that enough LOVE will not heal;
no door that enough LOVE will not open;
no gulf that enough LOVE will not bridge;
no wall that enough LOVE will not throw down;
no sin that enough LOVE will not redeem.
It makes no difference how deeply seated may
be the trouble; how hopeless the outlook; how
muddled the tangle, how great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of LOVE will dissolve it all.

Note: This Saturday 12 10 2022 starting at 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 (or perhaps until 3:00 p.m.), Ann Louise and her "Band of Friends" will play Christmas Music in the Montrose Shopping Park on Honolulu Avenue. They will set up across from the Bank of America, so follow the music and enjoy!! We are so blessed to have Ann Louise as our Music Director!!
Unity Church of the Valley will hold its Christmas Service at 11:30 a.m. on Christmas Day: Complete with music, prayer, meditation and the Inner meanings of the Nativity. Fellowship and a casual gift exchange after the service (humorous or small gifts under $10.00, marked for Male or Female). I am sure we will have refreshments, as well.
Our Unity Annual Burning Bowl Service will meet on New Year's Day at 11:30 a.m. Time to write out our Elimination Lists, burn them in our Burning Bowl, then write our Letters to God for our heartfelt desire in the New Year of 2023!!!
