This Sunday our lesson "Embracing Change," is inspired by an article in our current Silent Unity Booklet: "Spiritual Keys to Aging Well." It is also Father's Day, the day that we honor the fathers and father figures who have been essential in our personal growth and development.
I also enjoyed reading an article by Rev. Jim Blake who became the CEO of Unity World Headquarters in 2016 and was ordained as a Unity minister in 2021. He has had more than 20 years of Executive Leadership in some of the fastest growing and most innovative companies in North America. In reviewing the relationships with close friends and relatives, I have found that the biggest hurdle to improved health and happiness is the ability to accept change. How is it with you and your family? Our talented Music Director, Ann Louise Christensen has returned from a joyful vacation in Italy with her husband Eugene (Geno) Escarrega. Geno's daughter was married in Italy in an elegant outdoor wedding! We are glad that Ann Louise is back home with us. I am taking the weather forecasts on faith that the "June Gloom" will lift and we will have a sunny Sunday and a Happy Father's Day! Loving Blessings, Rev. Jeri Linn
