My goodness, we are enjoying a gorgeous day here in La Crescenta, California! Thank you, God for clear blue skies and warm temperatures! This Sunday's Lesson on:"Clear Vision," wraps up our series of Lessons for April. The spiritual power/faculty of the Imagination is represented by the Disciple Bartholomew and is located between the eyes (and slightly above the eyes... sometimes referred to as the 'Third eye" in Eastern philosophies. The Imagination faculty is referred to as the chisel or the scissors of the mind. This means you have the choice to clarify your heart's desires and to clearly see the images/goals in your life as having Reality and a True Life of their own.
Imagination is our inner ability to literally "see a vision of the good that we desire." On Sunday, we will spend time visualizing our personal goals for healing, relationships, prosperity, etc. Then, during the later portion of the Lesson, we will visualize abundant good and possibilities for the growth of our Congregation. As a Unity Ministry of Practical Christianity, we see ourselves as a magnet, mighty to attract people in our community "of like mind." There are people of all ages and backgrounds in our neighborhoods of La Crescenta, La Canada, Montrose, Tujunga and Glendale looking for a place to meditate, feel accepted and loved and who want to learn the spiritual steps to higher consciousness. Yes, Unity and all New Thought ministries, change lives!!
